Universitat Rovira i Virgili will host the 13th Annual Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy Workshop (APXPS-2026), a leading international meeting dedicated to Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (APXPS), an advanced technique for studying chemical reactions at surfaces and interfaces.

Following successful editions in Asia and the Americas, the workshop will be held in Europe in 2026, bringing together researchers, professionals and students interested in applications related to catalysis, advanced materials, energy and surface chemistry.

The programme will feature plenary and invited lectures by internationally renowned experts, oral and poster presentations, and technical sessions with industry representatives to showcase the latest developments and discuss future challenges in the field. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the ALBA Synchrotron.
