The conference "40 Years of Spain in the European Union: Leaderships and Challenges", delivered by Claudi Pérez Pallejà.

It will take place on Friday, April 17, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
The event is organized with the collaboration of the Research Centre in Economics and Sustainability (ECO-SOS) and the Department of Economics of the URV.

Claudi Pérez is a journalist specializing in international economic affairs at El País, where he previously served as deputy editor and national politics editor-in-chief, as well as Brussels correspondent. His experience provides a valuable and expert perspective on the trajectory of the European Union since from its beginnings to reaching the decisive crossroads at which it currently finds itself, amid a turbulent international situation that presents it with a whole series of challenges.
