DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to share information about the workshop Dementia
  and Care: Thinking Beyond Personhood?\, which will take place on 19 June 
 2026 in an online format. This event may be of particular interest to stud
 ents\, researchers\, and professionals in the fields of anthropology\, phi
 losophy\, care studies\, and health.\n\nThe workshop is organised by Dr An
 nette Leibing (Université de Montréal)\, Dr Fernando Vidal (ICREA - Cata
 lan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies / Universitat Rovira i V
 irgili)\, and Dr Federico Zilio (Università di Padova)\, within the frame
 work of the project &quot\;Human-robot interaction with older people with 
 dementia: sociocultural and gender differences and ethical and professiona
 l implications in the use of companion robots (MyRobot)&quot\;\, coordinat
 ed by Dr Blanca Deusdad and Dr Fernando Vidal.\n\nThe project is supported
  by grant PID2023‑147169NB‑I00 from the Spanish Ministry of Science an
 d Innovation and is carried out in collaboration with the Università di P
 adova\, the Université de Montréal\, the Medical Anthropology Research C
 enter (MARC URV)\, and the Department of Anthropology\, Philosophy and Soc
