DESCRIPTION:The XI TIEC Conference marks the conclusion of the MSCA DN proj
 ect &quot\;Training for a Hydrogen Economy based Renewable Energy Society 
 in the Anthropocene&quot\; (THERESA)\, focused on advancing a sustainable 
 hydrogen economy.\n\nTHERESA addresses three key pillars: reducing sectora
 l fragmentation to enhance socio-environmental sustainability\, enabling t
 he circular and sustainable use of hydrogen\, and strengthening societal e
 ngagement in the energy transition.\n\nIn the context of the Anthropocene\
 , the conference examines how law can enable - or hinder - meaningful and 
 just decarbonisation. Energy transition is approached as a profound transf
 ormation of legal\, economic\, governance and democratic systems\, with pa
 rticular attention to renewable and low-carbon hydrogen as a tool to decar
 bonise hard-to-abate sectors such as industry and transport.\n\nThe confer
 ence is structured around three interconnected streams:\n\n\n\nGoverning t
 he Sustainable Energy Transition: regulatory frameworks for decarbonisatio
 n.\n\n\nJust Transition\, Democracy and Participation: social and economic
  dimensions of energy transformation.\n\n\nCompetitiveness\, Innovation an
